  • Bob Weyer and his son Parker Wyer, right, uncover the fountain at Lincoln Park in Portland, after it was enclosed for the winter. The fountain, which was cast in Paris at the Val d'Osne Foundry and installed at the park in 1871, is maintained by the city as well as Friends of Lincoln Park. The fountain is about to recieve some repairs and improvements including a renovation of the basin, scheduled for the fall, and a new spire which is a close match to its original spire.
