AN EXHIBITION: Wayne Sherman, right, puts out a display of corn Wednesday with his son, Ryan, at the Litchfield Fair exhibition hall.  The men, from Wales, were participating in the judging of local crafts and home grown vegetables that is part of the annual agricultural show, sponsored by the Litchfield Farmer's Club, that opens Friday and runs through Sunday.

Saturday events at the fair include horse pulling starting at 8:30 a.m, judging of beef and dairy cattle starting at 10 a.m., and barrel racing starting at 2 p.m. Steve and the Good Ole Boys will play at 7:30 and there will be fireworks at dark.
