Dressed as Jaws,  John Taxter scares Thomas Pender, 8, who was just as scary in his blood filled scream mask and black outfit, as the annual Falmouth Halloween Parade passes by his home in the Falmouth Foreside Town Landing neighborhood, as it has done for some 20 years.

Hundreds of costumed kids and parents in the annual Falmouth Halloween Parade pass by the seasonably decorated home of John Taxter, who entertains them in his very scary shark costume, as they parade through the Falmouth  Foreside Town Landing neighborhood in an annual event that started in the late '80s, according to Falmouth Firefighter, Erik Knudsen. They start their parade by gathering at Underwood Park on Foreside Road, then they walk down Ramsdel Road, through the Town Landing neighborhood and end at the Foreside Station, part of the Falmouth Fire-EMS Department, on the corner of Foreside Road and Casco Terrace where they enjoy grilled hotdogs, apple cider, candy and other treats according to Knudsen.
