Sandy Storm Damage in Westbrook, Falmouth and Portland
Gordon Chibroski / Staff Photographer:  Mountain Road was blocked to traffic on Tuesday morning, October 30. 2012, when a tree fell onto the road along with a power line and knocked out power in the area, according to David and Laurie Janes, who heard the crash while in their house in Falmouth.

Steve Graffam had early morning help cuttng up a tree that had fallen across Methodist Road in Falmouth, when two neighbors pulled up in a pickup truck, pulled out their chainsaws and proceeded to cut up the tree so they could pass. Another neighbor came by with his tractor and plowed the debris off the road.
