OH DEER: This eight-point buck tries to figure out how to get out of a fenced yard at a residence at the intersection of Oak and Ticonic Streets in Waterville on Tuesday. Police decided to wait until dark and open a gate in hopes the deer would leave and return to the woods.

People stopped to photograph and admire an eight-point buck that became trapped in a fenced - in yard at a residence on Oak Street in Waterville on Tuesday. Police closed down the roadway and decided to wait until dark and attempt to coral the deer out a gate and back into the woods.

Colleen Williams takes photographs of a eight-point buck that got inside a fenced yard at a home on Oak Street in Waterville on Tuesday. Police said they would wait until dark and try to coral the deer through a gate and back to the woods. I thought it was a reindeer at first, Williams said.
