Observing is Stefanie Goetze, also from Halle, Germany, who came back for a visit with the girls for whom she was the girls' aupair for a year in 2005 in Falmouth, where the girls live. She brought her boyfriend, Matthias Neuber, with her and it is his first time visiting America and thought it would be great to take the girls portraits during the sunny weather while they toured some scenic areas along the Maine coast.

They are both from Cape Elizabeth and were there with the Gaudreault family enjoying the light snowfall that allowed some light sledding .
