Artist Joan Watson of Portland lifts an wrought iron French Day Bed from the late 1800's onto a display table she made as she and dozens of other vendors get ready for the Portland Flower Show at the Portland Company Complex on Fore Street on the waterfront. Besides her other pieces of art made from reclaimed wood and metal with a decorative painting, Watson, owner of WDesigns Decorative Art in Portland, made the decorative cushion to complete the unique piece. Theme of this year's show is Timeless Gardens, and starts tonight with the Opening Night Gala and Awards Ceremony and runs thru the weekend.
