Ron DuPont of South Portland places an American flag at the gravesite of a veteran at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Satuday morning in South Portland on May 25, 2013. This was the eighth year DuPont has joined veterans and volunteers with South Portland VFW Post 832 to place flags at 4 South Portland cemeteries. DuPont, who was in college during the Vietnam War, volunteers becuase it is a meaningful way to acknowledge the veterans.
