October 8, 2013…. Portland City Council held a public hearing on the proposal to establish a 39 foot buffer zone around the doors to Reproductive Health Care facilities in Portland.  Meredith Healy, a nurse at Planned Parenthood on Congress Street in Portland, urged the cities Public Health and Safety committee to enact the proposed buffer zone as did the speakers standing behind her.
