Fresh flowers and a plush teddy bear with angels wings were placed recently on a utility pole on Forest Avenue in Portland, near the site of last week's deadly train accident. Richard Cobb, 54, was walking along train tracks at about 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16 when he was struck and killed. Police are still investigating the crash, including why Cobb was not able to get out of the way of the oncoming train. The man lived in Portland but was believed to be homeless, according to police.
